Mike Bygrave Golf is responsible for the personal data described here. The aim is to collect only what is useful for account access, coaching, community participation, purchases and website security.
Information collected
Account details: email address, public username, private name, password credentials managed securely by the authentication provider, and optional profile preferences.
Golf and coaching records: goals, practice entries, rounds, speed and yardage information, questions, coach replies, drill recommendations and links you choose to provide.
Purchases and communications: product purchased, delivery email and service messages. Card information is entered directly with Stripe and is not stored by this website.
Technical information: security, session and server records such as browser details and IP address may be handled by the hosting and authentication providers to operate and protect the service.
How the information is used
- Create, secure and support your account.
- Save the golf records and member tools you choose to use.
- Allow Mike to review coaching information, answer questions and recommend next actions.
- Send essential account, purchase, reply and coaching notifications.
- Prevent misuse, diagnose faults and improve the service.
- Meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution obligations where necessary.
Marketing email will only be sent where a separate sign-up or other valid permission has been provided. You can withdraw from marketing at any time.
Public and private information
Your public username and anything you deliberately post in the members discussion may be visible to other members. Your private name, email address and personal coaching records are not intended for the public forum.
If a private question may help other golfers, the interface may offer you a choice to let Mike publish an anonymised version. It will only be shared through that workflow and without your real name or private account details.
Retention and security
Records are kept while your account or coaching relationship is active and for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised unless it must be retained by law.
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, including encrypted website connections and access controls. No online service can promise absolute security, so please use a unique password and do not place highly sensitive personal information in golf notes or public questions.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct personal data held about you. You may also request account closure or deletion of information that is no longer required, subject to identity checks and any lawful retention requirement.
You can edit or delete supported records from the member area. Essential account and service emails cannot always be switched off while the account or requested service remains active.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses essential browser storage for secure sign-in, account sessions and interface preferences such as Journal view. It does not currently use advertising cookies. If optional analytics or marketing technology is introduced, this notice and any necessary consent controls will be updated first.
